Congratulations GHS Graduates! This information is for students who will be participating in the graduation ceremony on Wednesday, and their guests:
Our Class of 2022 Graduation Ceremony is at the USF Yuengling Center on Wednesday, June 8. Please remember the ceremony starts promptly at 9:00 am. Graduates MUST arrive by 8:00 to prepare for our procession. Students who arrive late may NOT enter the procession or ceremony.
Remember to give yourself time to drive to the University of South Florida in Tampa. With your arrival expected at 8 am, traffic will be heavy due to work schedules. Be sure to bring your cap/gown and a credit card to pay for the $8 dollar parking fee. You can pay at USF or ahead of time at the ParkWhiz website (or app).
Graduates are encouraged to leave personal items behind as they will NOT be allowed in the ceremony and will need to be left unsupervised in the “Corral” space.
A sign language (ASL) interpreter is at all Pasco County Schools high school graduations. If a guest requires assistance for the hearing impaired, please see a USF representative (usually stationed near the entry doors to the arena).
After the recessional, graduates will go to the corral to pick up their diploma. Families and guests must wait outside to meet their graduate.
It’s an exciting time and we are VERY proud to recognize ALL of your accomplishments. Be sure to show yourself and others the pride and dignity that you deserve for attaining such a positive endeavor! Be sure to reference the attached prior communication about the ceremony details and expectations.
We anticipate our ceremony to be a WONDERFUL event for ALL!!! Congratulations!!!
