Sue Teeple-Judy (left), who runs our front office, will retire on Sept. 30 after 25 years of employment in the Pasco County school district, 17 of those years at Gulf High School.

She will be succeeded by Carolyn Selfe (pronounced “self”), pictured on the right.

Ms Teeple-Judy, who graduated from Gulf in 1976, has worked here since 1998, starting as a Media Technology Assistant before becoming a secretary. She earlier worked at Mittye P. Locke Elementary and Gulf Middle schools. Her son Justin Teeple graduated from Gulf in 1998. She is married to Craig Judy, who taught at Gulf for about 17 years. He is now retired.

Ms. Selfe has worked for 25 years for the school district. For the last 13 years she has worked in student support programs. Earlier, she was the registrar at Schrader Elementary School and worked in transportation. Her husband Bob Selfe taught English at Ridgewood High School for 30 years, beginning there when the school opened.
