Hello, parents. This is Mrs. Davis calling to let you know that New Port Richey police are at school today investigating a vague threat of violence against the school. We are currently on an alert campus. This simply means we are on a heightened level of supervision. We don’t think there is merit to the threat, but we wanted to cover all our bases to assure the safety of students and staff. We also wanted to make sure we communicate with all parents of the situation. We will have extra police presence tomorrow, as well, just as a precaution. Thank you.
