Debbie Painter, a guidance counselor at Gulf who joined our faculty in August 2013, will become an assistant principal at Ridgewood High School pending school board approval in early October.
Before coming to Gulf, she had been a guidance counselor at J. W. Mitchell High School since 2005.
Deborah Marie Biscardi graduated from Gulf High School in 1994. She has a B. A. degree in Psychology from Southeastern University in Lakeland and an M. A. degree in Guidance and Counseling K-12 from the University of South Florida. She has a certificate in Ed Leadership and Mental Health. She was married last year.
When we went to the guidance office to take her picture, Lisa Jennings, another counselor, told us that we should say that “Debbie is irreplaceable and will be missed by her department.”
