Jalena Hawkins, the former Gulf High School basketball standout, has signed a letter of intent to play at Trinity Baptist College in Jacksonville, Florida. Jalena was a two-time All-North Suncoast selection and averaged 13.4 points and 6 rebounds per game. In addition, Jalena was part of a senior class that won four consecutive district championships and advanced to the regional final.
