At districts yesterday (4/9) our boys team placed 3rd out of 16 teams. All of our lifters placed 4th or better. Travis Thomas placed 2nd and may be receiving a special invitation to the State Tournament if his score qualifies in the top ten in the state in his weight class. Athletic Director Shari McFarlane wrote in an email, “Coach Fredrickson (new coach) has done an outstanding job at getting our guys interested and working hard for GHS!”
