In dominate and complete game fashion, the Buccaneers rolled to a 8-0 shutout victory over the host Zephyrhills in the 5A-8 semifinals. The victory seals a trip to the State Playoffs for only the second time in the fast-pitch era. Pasco Pirates stand in the way of a district championship. Madison Morlan went the distance yet again for the victory. She gave up 5 hits while striking out 5. The offense was led by Brittney Pressler, who went 2 for 3, a grand slam HR, 5 RBI’s. Alyssa Mulroy went 3 for 4 and played a very strong first base. Madison, Hanna McCarthy, Rachel Gardner each went 2 for 4. The victory was witnessed by over 30 loud & cheering Buccaneer fans. Among them was our principal, Ms Kim Davis. Game time Friday is at 7 pm in Zephyrhills. The ladies would love to see a strong Buccaneer showing to cheer them on.
