Dear Gulf High Families,
We are currently in the process of hiring a new Cheer coach for the 2018-19 school year. The ad is posted on the Pasco County School’s website and FHSAA website in hopes of finding a qualified applicant. I understand the urgency of holding tryouts and beginning practices with conditioning. That being said, I will have in place a qualified person to hold tryouts if a coach is not hired before the end of the month of June. Please monitor the school’s website and Twitter for updates of times and dates of tryouts. At this time it is in your best interest to make sure athletes have an updated athletics packet and physical on approved forms that can be picked up in the Main Office of the school Monday-Thursday between 7:00 am- 4:00 pm. As Athletic Director of Gulf High School, it is in the student athlete’s best interest to put in place the most qualified candidate.
