Three Gulf students have been named Commended Students in the 2013 National Merit Scholarship Program. In the photo are Gulf principal Kimberly Davis with the students, Brittany F. Reid, Seychelle L. Baker, and Brittney N. Gervasi. Ms. Davis presented each with a Letter of Commendation from our school and the National Merit Scholarship Corporation, which conducts the program. About 34,000 Commended Students throughout the nation are being recognized for their exceptional academic promise. They placed in the top five percent of more than 1.5 million students who entered the 2013 competition by taking the 2011 Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT/NMSQT©).
