Gulf High School will be holding a jeans drive called Teens for Jeans from January 16 until February 8!
Today there are 1.7 million homeless teens in the United States, and the #1 item they request from shelters is a pair of jeans. I encourage you to please donate a pair (or more) of jeans for this cause! All jeans will be donated to a local homeless shelter in the community, as well as 1000 other homeless shelters in Canada, the U.S., and Puerto Rico.
For all pairs of jeans that are donated, Aeropostale will give a 25% off coupon for a new pair! Even better, if our school collects the most jeans, GHS will win a $10,000 grant, one hoodie for EACH student, and a party!
Please feel free to donate any jeans from all shapes, colors, and sizes! ALL jeans must be dropped off at the center circulation desk in the MEDIA or to Monica Ouano, personally. When dropping off jeans, please fill out a donation form as well to receive your 25% off coupon! The coupons will be handed out after Feb. 8.
