Gulf High School will be offering Extended School Day this summer to students who need to make up credits. The dates are June 12th – July 13th. The first 10 days are FULL days from 7:30 am to 3:00 pm. The last 10 days are HALF days from 7:30 am to 11:30 am. We are using APEX, an online program, for credit recovery. Transportation will be offered.
Marchman Technical College is also offering a summer school option with face to face learning from July 11th – July 26th. Bus service is not provided. The hours are 8:00 am to 3:30 pm.
Free breakfast and free lunch will be offered at both locations. Please have your child see their school counselor in the Guidance Office to sign up.
Online Classes: This option is reserved for highly motivated, self-driven individuals with reliable computer and internet access ONLY. You will have 18 weeks to finish each semester (36 weeks for a year long course) but students are encouraged to finish their courses before the next school year starts. Math classes taken to advance must be completed by August 11th – you will not be allowed to move to a higher-level math unless you have successfully completed the prerequisites.
