Solo and ensemble performances are Superior

Several of our band students received ‘Superior’ ratings at their annual Florida Bandmasters Association’s District 5 Solo & Ensemble Music Performance Assessment at Fivay High School on Friday, February 10th. Soloists Timothy Flores (piano), Shane Gillen (bassoon), and Rachael Hitchcock (alto sax) received this top rating as well as our saxophone quartet (Rachael Hitchcock, Savannah Law, Shane Gillen, and Kelsey Phillips) and our clarinet quartet (Judith Young, Adam Kelly, Jessika Eglin, and Jessica Buliga). Our soloists will be heading to Orlando for the State Assessment at the end of March.
