On Monday night the Sunshine Athletic Conference held their annual meeting for selection of the spring All Conference teams. Gulf softball is well represented with 5 ladies making All Conference teams. Congratulations to: Madison Morlan, 2nd Team Pitcher, Nikki Sedivy, 2nd Team Catcher, Hanna McCarthy, 2nd Team Outfield, Rachel Gardner, 3rd Team Infield, Brittney Pressler, 3rd Team Infield. The recognition is a fitting conclusion to a record season by these young ladies. In the ten seasons under Coach Rick Hohenthaner this marks the first time 5 players made All Conference in the same year. The best news: all five ladies return in 2014 to defend their district title and seek a deeper run in the state tournament. Job well done, ladies.
