Six Gulf wrestlers qualify for states

GHS missed winning the Regional Wrestling Tournament hosted by Matanza High School in Palm Coast by only four points, but the Bucs advanced more than any other school, advancing six wrestlers to the State Tournament to be held in Lakeland on February 20 and 21. The following wrestlers advanced: 112 RJ O’Connor (10th grade), 119 Anthony Ayers (10th grade), 152 Ladarious Jackson (10th grade), 125 Josh Isom (11th grade), 171 Jacob Ritter (11th grade), 189 Matt Gallagher (12th grade). RJ and Ladarious were Region Champions.
