Here is some important information and a calendar of new events for the Class of 2020 – There are several parts so please read all the way through.
Seniors, as we wrap up our school year, we would like to update you on GHS Virtual Graduation in June and face-to-face Graduation Live in August.
On June 3rd at 11:00am, we will hold our virtual graduation via Zoom. A link will be sent out about 30 minutes prior, so all families can participate in virtual graduation. We encourage graduates to wear their cap and gown, tassel, medallion, and any honor cords and stoles during the ceremony. When you return things on the 26th or 27th, you’ll be able to pick up these graduation items.
We are also scheduled to have a traditional face-to-face graduation on August 12th. This will be held at the USF Yuengling Center. All of those details will be released as we get closer to August.
Here’s another great celebration happening tomorrow for our twelfth grade Bucs: Tuesday night at 7pm, the Mayor and City Council for the City of New Port Richey will honor our Gulf High grads. This is the first time ever for such an event! You can watch it live in one of three ways: Spectrum channel 644 Frontier FIOS channel 20 or on the City’s website at https://newportricheyfl.swagit.com/live. You can find links on the City of New Port Richey Facebook page too.

Seniors – Return books, uniform, and computer/charger; pick up items for graduation and yearbooks if ordered

Corvette Club neighborhood drive through parade to celebrate GHS students
(Begins 10am and heads though various streets and communities of our GHS Bucs)
June 3, 11am:
GHS Virtual Graduation – Zoom link to be sent at 10:30am on day of event
