In order to protect the health and safety of employees, staff, and students, all those who access Pasco County School locations must self-screen for symptoms and other risk factors of COVID-19 daily. If you answer YES to any of the questions, you should NOT be on a school campus or school district office. All three self-screeners – the Student Self-Screener, the Employee Self-Screener, and the Visitor Self-Screener – are accessible from the district’s COVID-19 protocols page and are posted on each school web page.

Robert Wilson, a former Gulf band director who died on April 11, composed the GHS fight song, the music to which is familiar to all Bucs fans. Here is an MP3 file of the song: ghs_fight2.mp3. In the video clip below, the band and cheerleaders perform the fight song at a pep rally on Nov. 14, 2008.

Mr. Rutherford says that in Pasco County we are the only band that has a fight song that is specifically written for the school. All other schools borrow college fight songs. Provided by Mr. Rutherford, here are the words to the song, by Robert Wilson.

Go Go Buccaneers

Gulf High School Fight Song

Go Go Buccaneers down the field,
Gulf High forever will cheer.
Each vict’ry for the green and white
We’ll show our might for all to fear
So, Go Go Buccaneers never yield
Fight! And you’ll win the game!
So Go…Go….Go onto vic-tor-y,
Go Go Buccaneers go! GO!
