GHS juniors and seniors: The purpose of this post is to inform students and families on important details regarding prom.

Prom will be held on Friday, April 22, 2022 from 7pm-11pm at Ruth Eckerd Hall. In order to attend prom students and guests must meet the following expectations:

  • No level 3 referrals during semester 2
  • No more than 2 referrals during semester 2
  • No items or monies owed.
  • All attendees must be on track with credits.
    • This means that juniors have earned 15 credits, seniors 21 credits, and have a minimum unweighted GPA of 2.0.

Students not meeting these expectations may fill out an appeal form. To do so, CLICK HERE or scan the QR code located on the ticket sales table and fill out the electronic appeal form completely. The electronic appeal form will be transmitted directly to an administrator.

All appeals must be submitted by April 8th, 2022 by 3pm EDT.

A properly signed permission slip is required to purchase a ticket. Permission slips will be in the front office and will be distributed during all lunches Thursday March 24th and Friday March 25th. Again, a properly signed permission slip is required to purchase a prom ticket.

Tickets will be sold on Rycor and during lunches beginning on March 31st. The following prices are in effect:

  • March 31st – April 1st for $70
  • April 4th – April 8th for $75
  • April 11th – 14th for $80

GHS students intending to bring a guest from another school will be required to have their guest and the guest’s school administration fill out a guest permission form. Guest permission forms will be in the front office.

  • Guest forms must be completed and submitted by April 8th and are subject to GHS administrator approval.
  • Guests must also meet the GHS prom expectations.

GHS students interested in participating in Prom Court should fill out the Prom Court application located in the front office. King and Queen will be announced during prom. Please return your prom court applications to either Angela Mastromarino in room 105G OR Anacris Nott in room 114D by the due date.
