The GHS NJROTC unit conducted their Physical Fitness Test and Annual Family Picnic at Green Key Beach Park this past Saturday. The cadets arrived bright and early at 7:00 AM and began their test with situps and pushups, then concluded with a one mile run along Green Key Rd. Afterwards, they enjoyed hotdogs and hamburgers cooked on the grill by world renowned BBQ chef, Chief Jose Rodriguez. They also enjoyed playing volleyball, paddleball, and skim boarding. The cadets and their families had a great time.
