The press box says “GO BUCS!” but this couldn’t be Des Little Stadium because there’s a commercial airliner taking off. The answer is that the Berkeley Prep team has stolen our team name, the Buccaneers, as has a local NFL team. But we are the ORIGINAL Buccaneers in the Tampa Bay area!
(Note: In the 1920s and 1930s the Gulf High School sports teams were the Cooties, named for the river, and as far as we know, no one stole that name.)
