On Jan. 19 some of our IB students visited Mittye P. Locke Elementary School for our “Road to College” project. Each was assigned to work with three gifted MPLES students. Our IB students talked to the elementary students about their experiences in elementary and middle school, the skills needed to be successful in middle school, extracurricular activities available in middle school, and information about the International Baccalaureate program in high school.
