The NJROTC cadets continued their Basic Leadership Training in North Carolina with a drive along the Blue Ridge Parkway. The cadets stopped at several scenic areas including the Blue Ridge Graveyard where the cadets hiked to a nearby waterfall and to the Devil’s Courthouse which is at the top of one of the mountains along the parkway. From there the cadets could see up to 85 miles away including 3 states. Each night the cadets enjoy smores cooked in a campfire they build themselves. Tomorrow the cadets will go whitewater rafting on the Nantahala River in Bryson City, NC. More updates to follow.
