Michele Walicke has been named Gulf High School’s head swimming coach. Michele is a 2005 graduate of Gulf and will be teaching reading in the fall. Michele swam three years for Gulf and was our swim team captain in her senior year. She holds a school record in the 200 Medley Relay, and was a state finalist in 2003. She writes, “I am excited to recruit new swimmers because it is truly a wonderful sport. You do not feel yourself sweating, and it is the best aerobic activity.”
