Gloria Hermann is a new Spanish teacher at Gulf. She has taken over the classes formerly taught by Ms. Belknap, who has switched to teaching Spanish in the Pasco eSchool.
Ms. Hermann has taught at Waubonsee Community College in Aurora, Illinois, and at the Pan-American Language Institute in Puerto Rico. She is widely traveled, and has lived in Brazil, Puerto Rico, and Florida. She was born in Bolivia and has lived in the U. S. for about 10 years.
She has two master’s degrees, one in TESOL, from the University of Puerto Rico and the other in teaching Spanish as a foreign language, from the University of Grenada in Spain.
