Dustra Haynes is our new science teacher, replacing Mr. Evans, who retired recently.
Mrs. Haynes taught science at River Ridge Middle School during the first half of this school year and earlier taught science at Gulf Middle School for 7 years. She has also taught in a private school.
She is a graduate of Clearwater Christian College and Charlotte High School in Punta Gorda. Her husband Cody is a supervisor at Home Depot. They have a one-year-old son named Brennan.
Mrs. Haynes will be teaching Physical Science and Physical Science Honors.
