Personal Bio:

 

Jonathan Mendres LAT, ATC, graduated in 2016 with his bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training/Sports Medicine from The University of South Florida in Tampa, FL.  Upon graduation, he moved to Pasco, Florida, where he worked at Advent Health and was the athletic trainer at Pasco H.S. for one year and at Bishop McLaughlin Catholic H.S. for three years. Throughout his career, Jonathan has worked very closely with division I athletes, in addition to High School, and Middle School athletes. However, his passion revolves around serving athletes within the high school setting- he believes every high school athlete should have access to a full-time athletic trainer. Jonathan has been the full-time athletic trainer at Gulf High School since July 2020.
