From Coach Lofton: The girls team finished 5th in a extremely competitive regional meet and qualified for the state meet in Tallahassee next weekend. The team was led by Kari Grippo who won the meet easily with the fastest time of the day out of the 4 regional meets that were held on Saturday (11/2). The remainder of the girls team, Eliza Gazda, Katie Buckman, Martha Hernandez, Abigail Raymond, Jaylin Banks, and Aubrey Crespo, all ran personal best times to help the team qualify.

On the boys side, they also qualified for the state meet and finished 5th and were only 4 points out of 3rd place. The team was led by James Raymond, who ran an outstanding time of 16:57. That is 5:25 per mile for 3 miles in a row. The rest of the boys, Wesley Best, Sebastian Gazda, Robbie Jessup, Orlando Bravo, Victor Lopez, and Domenic Crisafulli, all ran extremely well with many personal best times to qualify for the state meet.

Here are three Scott Grippo videos.
