Gulf runner Kari Grippo concluded her 2013 cross country season by earning her third FHSAA medal.
She was ranked 10th in the state this year and placed 5th, earning her second medal at the FHSAA Cross Country State Championships.
She also medaled as a participant on the 2011 track relay team earning a 4th place medal.
Early this week Kari was named Female Cross Country All Sunshine Athletic Conference Runner of the Year.
Assistant Principal Travis DeWalt writes, “One of her most impressive achievements is her 4.63 GPA in the IB Program. Kari is truly an amazing representative of the Gulf High School community. I can’t recall another athlete with her academic and athletic accomplishments!”
