Long-time Gulf Coach Jerry Young was honored for his contributions to Gulf baseball on April 12. A Coach Jerry Young Award, to be given each year, was established. Pictured here are two Pasco County coaching legends, Jerry and long-time Ridgewood baseball coach Larry Beets, who is also retired. Two former GHS baseball players who spoke were Pete Lucadano, a big sponsor for GHS, and Brandon Tucker, who later played for the California Angels.
