The Florida Department of Education has announced that Gulf High School has won the Golden School Award and the Silver School Award for the 2012-13 school year. These two awards are given annually by the Florida Department of Education to recognize public schools with exemplary volunteer programs. Information about the program is on the FLDOE web site here.
