Several Gulf students participated in Teen Court on Oct. 23.

Teen Court is a juvenile diversion program for youth under 18 and is part of the Juvenile Arbitration Program. Teen Court provides an educational forum for non-offending teens. It allows students to participate in the legal process, become familiar with the court system, and learn about various career opportunities the court system to offer. Students take a 4 hour training course provided by the Assistant Attorneys office. The students are taught to act as the bailiff, court clerk, jury, and attorneys.

Gulf High School has 24 active members. Ms. Nibert is the teacher liaison for Gulf, and she provided these photos. Larger photos are here, here, and here.
