Both students who represented Gulf High School in the 2012 Tropicana Speech Contest on Feb. 23 took first place. Corey Palermo (in the blue shirt) took first place for his speech, which was in the category “to persuade,” and Kris Stolarczyk took first place for his speech, which was in the category “to entertain.” Mrs. St. John, who supplied these photos, reports that both students were awesome!
