The photo below shows Brittney Gervasi and Jackie Chung presenting a check to representatives of Southeastern Guide Dogs. Our Leo Club’s donation was $150, which was matched by the Cotee River Lions Club, for the $300 total, but our donation will also be matched later by Lions International and a private sponsor. Brittney is president of the club and Jackie is vice president. The photo was taken at the Lions Den at 8320 Plathe Road. Also pictured are Ed and Theo Veclotch.
In December, our Leo Club donated $300 to Lighthouse for the Blind, and the club has also donated $450 to the Lions of West Pasco. That latter donation goes directly for eye exams and glasses.
Mr. Stobbs is sponsor of the Leo Club, which is affiliated with the Lions Club.
