The following information is an important update to planned graduation dates for Pasco County high schools:
We have been informed that the Yuengling Center at USF is not able to hold our graduation in August as planned. We immediately created an alternative plan because we recognize the importance of celebrating our 2020 graduates. We have rescheduled the Gulf High School graduation to Saturday, July 25, 2020 at 9 am at the J.W. Mitchell High School football stadium, with each graduate accompanied by two guests. (Construction at our own Des Little Stadium necessitates the use of an alternate location.)
We are determined to make this celebration special and to give you the opportunity to graduate surrounded by classmates and family, and to walk across the stage.
Click here for a handout of our graduation plans and expectations. As we approach the new date, we will provide more specific guidance about parking, admission, seating on the field, and the way we will carry out the ceremony and photo opportunities.
While each graduating senior may bring only two guests, the ceremony will be live-streamed on Facebook Live to allow additional family and friends to watch the event.
