As part of their study of the integumentary system, anatomy students learned of various types of skin trauma such as abrasions, contusions, lacerations, incisions, avulsions, and burns. In Academy classes they also have learned how to treat various injuries. On Oct. 31, just for fun, they used makeup to create horrific skin trauma effects. Nineteen more photos are in the HCA set.
