Gulf High School was honored at the school board meeting on Oct. 15 for our support of the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life for the past 15 years. The commendation includes the following: “As event teams were beginning to set up on the morning of April 12, 2013 things were going well and then the winds began to whip and rains blew in. At a moment’s notice, a decision to cancel or continue the event had to be made. Gulf High School’s Assistant Principal, Doug Elias, and Principal, Kim Davis, offered the school’s gym and activity center to host the event.” Included in the picture are our Principal, Kim Davis, and Plant Manager, Randy Bishop.
