GHS had a banner day at the Gulf Coast Region of Odyssey of the Mind. Five teams participated and all are invited to the Florida State Tournament on April 14 at UCF in Orlando. Their names and places are below. Three seniors also received scholarships: Katie Penick for $500; Oliver Chang and Lizzy Mapes received a book scholarship for $250 each. GHS had three of eight scholarship winners.

Asiya Khan received one of only two Renatra Fusca Creativity awards for her excellence in the Spontaneous Competition. One judge who has been around the Spontaneous Competition for 21 years said she was the best ever seen in that time period.
