On March 14, Michael Ploor, a teacher from Hillsborough County (in the top photo), shared his experiences in an academy at his school which is similar to the new Academy of Gaming, Simulation, and Design which is being established at Gulf High School. Mr. Ploor has taught in similar programs at Alonso and Middleton high schools.
The other photos show Ms. Donlon, Mr. Boyle, Mr. Stoneking, Mr. Strasser, and Mr. Zions, who will be involved in the program. Mr. Neil Boyle is new to our faculty, coming to Gulf from Seven Springs Middle School.
In the bottom photo are Dr. Randy Roberts, the career specialist at Weeki Wachee High School, Chris Clifford, the CTE department chair at WWHS, and WWHS Principal Troy LaBarbara. Weeki Wachee High School will start a similar program next year.
