On Monday we return to school for the 2019-20 school year. Our day begins with first period starting at 7:25am. My expectation is that you are seated in your classroom at that time. How do you know where to go? Don’t use the schedule you have from last week – it probably has been revised. Instead, log in to myStudent Monday morning or better yet, find your name and the room you go to on the lists that we’ll have posted around the school. In first period, you’ll get a new schedule and that is the one you must follow.
BREAKFAST:
Breakfast will be waiting for you in the cafeteria or at a grab-and-go location. Make sure you eat quickly and clean up. There are trash baskets in key locations. Keep our school and campus clean by throwing away any garbage. Please avoid spills!
CLOTHING:
All students must follow the Pasco County Schools dress code. That means wear shorts or skirts that go down long enough towards the knee. They can’t be higher than 4 inches above the knee. Pants must be worn securely at the waist. If you have to spend the day pulling them up or holding them up, wear a belt. Wear shirts that cover your upper body, shoulders, and stomach area. No straps, tank tops or tube tops at all. Put away hats and bandanas, and take down hoods. At no time must undergarments be visible – anywhere. So make sure that they remain under your clothing. Finally, no sheer materials – clothes should be solid in nature, not see-through. These rules all apply to both boys and girls. Clothes must be worn respectfully.
BUSES and CARS:
If your student is a bus rider, make sure to be up early and at the bus stop at the time listed on the student schedule. You can use what you already have, or look on myStudent on your phone or computer. If you have transportation questions, call 727-774-2500 for help. They are open starting at 6:30am.
If you are driving your student to school, our drop off loop is in front of the building on School Road. Use this loop only! Please do not enter onto campus through any other entrance because this blocks buses and staff from getting to school. It is critical that you use only the front loop on School Road to drop off in the morning and to pick up in the afternoon.

El lunes volvemos a la escuela para el año escolar 2019-20. Nuestro día comienza con el primer período a partir de las 7:25 am. Mi expectativa es que estés sentado en tu salón de clase a la campana. ¿Cómo sabes adónde ir? No emplea el horario que recibiste la semana pasada, probablemente haya sido revisado. En su lugar, inicia una sesión en myStudent el lunes por la mañana o mejor, busca tu nombre y el salón de clase en la lista que publicaremos alrededor de la escuela. Durante primera hora, obtendrás un horario actualizado y ese es el que debe seguir.
DESAYUNO:
El desayuno estará esperándote en la cafetería o en un lugar para llevar. Asegúrate de comer rápido y poner basura en un basurero. ¡Por favor evita derrames! Mantén limpia nuestra escuela y plantel .
ROPA:
Todos los estudiantes deben seguir el código de vestimenta de las Escuelas del Condado de Pasco. Eso significa usar pantalones cortos o faldas que bajen lo suficiente hacia la rodilla. No pueden caer a más de 4 pulgadas por encima de la rodilla. Lleva los pantalones de manera segura en la cintura. Si tienes que pasar el día levantándolos o sosteniéndolos, usa un cinturón. Ponte camisas que cubran la parte superior del cuerpo, los hombros y el área del estómago. Ninguna camiseta de correas, ni camisetas sin mangas. Guarda sombreros y pañuelos, y quítate las capuchas. En ningún momento deben verse las prendas interiores, en ningún lugar. Así que asegúrate de que permanezcan debajo de su ropa. Finalmente, no usa materiales transparentes: la ropa debe ser de naturaleza sólida. Todas estas reglas se aplican tanto a niños como a niñas. Debes usarte la ropa humilde que indica respeto.
AUTOBUSES Y COCHES:
Si su estudiante viaja en autobús, asegúrese de levantarse temprano y llegar en la parada del autobús a la hora indicada en el horario del estudiante. Puede usar lo que ya tiene o mirar myStudent en su teléfono o computadora. Si tiene preguntas sobre el transporte, llame al 727-774-2500 para obtener ayuda. La oficina de transporte está abierta a partir de las 6:30 a.m.
Si viaja en carro a la escuela, nuestro circuito de entrega se encuentra delante del edificio en School Road. ¡Use este circuito solamente! No ingrese al campus por otra entrada porque impide que los autobuses y el personal lleguen a la escuela. Es fundamental que use solo el circuito de School Road para dejarlo en la mañana y recogerlo en la tarde a su estudiante.
Como siempre, esté atento a los peatones y biciclistas. Recuerde siempre: la seguridad es lo primero.
