FCAT retakes for juniors and seniors will begin Monday, October 8th. Students who are testing need to review the instructions for online testing at www.FLAssessments.com/ePATs.
Please note the following policies.
Electronic Devices Policy: If students are found with ANY electronic devices, including, but not limited to, cell phones and smartphones, during testing OR during breaks, their tests will be invalidated. The best practice would be for students to leave devices at home or in their lockers on the day of testing.
Leaving Campus: If students leave campus before completing the test (for lunch, an appointment, or illness, etc.), they WILL NOT be allowed to complete the test. Students and parents should be aware of this policy. If a student does not feel well on the day of testing, it may be best for the student to wait and be tested on a make-up day.
Student Honor Statement: Prior to testing, students will be asked to acknowledge a Student Honor Statement that reads, “I understand that giving or receiving unauthorized help during the test is cheating and if I give or receive such help during this test, it will result in the invalidation of my test results.” Students taking CBT Retakes may show they have read the statement by clicking a checkbox; in paper-based Retakes, a signature line appears below the statement.
