Good afternoon. This is Mr. Morgenstein at Gulf High School calling with an important message.
Law enforcement responded to our campus today regarding a tip about a possible weapon seen on our campus. We conducted a thorough investigation under Pasco County Schools procedures for Controlled Campus along with our New Port Richey Police Department and Pasco County Sheriff’s Office. No weapon was found, and we have resumed lunch and end of day classes. At no time were our students or staff in any danger.
I want to thank our students and staff for their patience. I especially want to thank the New Port Richey Police Department and the Pasco County Sheriff’s Office for all they do to keep Gulf High School safe.
