It’s final. The 2014 Gulf Varsity softball schedule is complete and the anticipation can begin. For the first time in program history the Buccaneers will be defending the 5A-8 District Championship in a challenging but very competitive new 5A-8 district. New to the district, River Ridge (district champ), Dunedin (district champ), Tarpon Springs, Sunlake, Land O’ Lakes. The home schedule opens with a tough Tampa Catholic coming on Feb. 5 at 6:pm. This season the Bucs travel to two tournaments, the Hernando Softball Slam on Mar. 21st & 22nd. Then off to Ocala on April 4th & 5th for the Doc4Life tournament hosted by powerhouse Belleview. The Buccaneers return FIVE All Conference representatives, Madison Morlan, Nikki Sedivy, Rachel Gardner, Hanna McCarthy and Brittney Pressler. So check out the schedule and plan a game to come and check out these talented ladies as they pursue their goal……… State Finals. Go Bucs!
