Mrs. Barrus reports that some of her photography students have entered an on-line contest and we can vote for the winner. The contest is organized by Frameworks of Tampa Bay, a non-profit organization. They are sponsoring the contest titled “Emotions,” which Mrs. Barrus says just happens to fit in with a project the students are finishing up on “lighting” and portraits.

To read the artist statement and see which school the student attends, click on the title. Mrs. Barrus writes, “A majority of the photos are from our school and I still have more photos coming. So check back daily, VOTE again and VOTE from home, phone, etc. The winner earns $200.00. And, many of the photos will be on display in Tampa.”
