The three finalists for our head football coaching position visited Gulf on Friday (1/18). They toured the athletic facilities and the school and were interviewed by a committee consisting of Principal Kim Davis, Assistant Principal Doug Elias, Athletic Director Travis DeWalt, school board member and former Gulf athlete Steve Luikart, former Gulf athlete Bill Phillips, and former Gulf Athletic Director Paul Girardi. Ms. Davis and the candidate being interviewed are not in this picture. The three candidates are Ken Davis, an assistant coach at Chamberlain, Mike Lube, a former USF player and coach, and Jason Messamore, an assistant coach at East Lake.
