Thang Hrim, a Gulf senior originally from Burma, has earned U. S. citizenship. Thang plays sports at Gulf and is an NJROTC cadet. One of his teachers, Charlene Nibert, reports that despite his brief time here he has learned English and U. S. laws and customs to pass the exam. She writes, “He studied very hard and got his citizenship on his first try. I am very proud of him.”
