Edwin Rios, a member of our custodial staff, has been selected as the Gulf High School SRP of the Year. School-related personnel include most employees who are not teachers. Mr. Rios was selected by a vote of the SRP’s. He learned of his selection from Ms. Davis on Thursday morning. Mr. Rios is in his seventh year at Gulf. He is active in his church, Faith Worship Center on Gulf Drive, and he volunteers there and in the community. He and his wife Esther have two sons, Brandon and Alex, who attend PHCC. Mr. Rios was born in Puerto Rico and grew up in Chicago.
