One of our amazing students, Arthi Solayappan, grade 10, is organizing a 5K . She has a passion for our community and has been volunteering at a local community garden through the West Pasco Habitat for Humanity. Her goals include extending the reach of the vegetable garden to all local elementary schools so that students can learn about the food source on a first hand basis. The garden has recently suffered damages from Hurricane Irma and all plants had to be replanted.
For the 5K, which will help raise the money needed, Arthi would love our support and is in need of volunteers and sponsors for the event.
