The following message was sent home over the weekend:

Hello. This is Principal Kim Davis, calling to let you know that a Gulf Middle School student has been arrested for threatening violence against Gulf Middle, Gulf High and River Ridge High schools. We learned about the threats this morning, and want to thank the New Port Richey Police Department and Pasco Sheriff’s Office for the swift investigation and resolution. This is another example of a child jeopardizing their future by making what they considered a joke on social media. Now this student faces felony charges and an uncertain future. Once again, I’m asking you to please talk with your students about the serious consequences of making such senseless hoax threats. Thank you.
