From Ms. Donlon: Metropolitan Ministries is offering a great Summer program where students can get community service hours.
This summer Metropolitan Ministries is featuring an internship program for high school students called the MyV Summer Internship. This occurs from June 1st- August 15th and for 20 hours per week. Students may take the entire summer internship or only for a month if needed. It is an invaluable experience working at one of the best non-profits in the country in areas such as: Community Outreach, IT, Volunteer Services, Commercial Kitchen operation, etc.
Students will all go through an application and interview process as well as have all their hours documented for the sake of Bright Futures scholarships. Please apply by April 30th here and search for the MyV Summer Internship application.
