As we begin a new school year, we wanted to take a moment to clarify some new requirements established by our district regarding people volunteering in our schools. In order to provide maximum protection for students, there is an additional element to the usual application. Each July 1, volunteers must complete an annual district volunteer application online by clicking the link. Beginning this school year, applicants must also complete a level 2 background check at a cost of $41.25 which is valid for 5 years.

We recognize that this cost may be a hardship for some of our households. If this is the case, please reach out directly to our Parent and Family Involvement Coordinator so we might consider your situation. In cases of hardship, we may be able to offer support towards this requirement. Each inquiry will be handled on an individual basis with maximum respect for the applicant’s privacy.
