Dr. Knobl informed the faculty of our letter grade in an email on Jan. 4. He wrote, “I know many of you were optimistic that we’d earn GHS’ first-ever A school grade (I sure was), but a couple of the categories evidently impacted our overall scoring more than anticipated. … There is much to be proud of at GHS and I want each one of you to realize the impact and influence YOU have on students each day. There is much more in the overall picture to consider when evaluating a school’s level of success. Let’s come back Monday with a focus and energy to help the students learn and succeed in this year’s grading cycle. The leadership team will be disaggregating the data this month so we can share it with all staff in February. … I am truly proud to be GHS’ principal and your leader!”
